Temporary Position: Do you want to help build a safe and attractive western Gothenburg with us? We are looking for a driven Development Leader.

Are you a relationship builder who makes things happen? Are you as innovative as you are operational and want to work with social sustainability in a collaborative team? From May and for one year, we are looking for a replacement for our Development Leader in Väster who is going on parental leave.

As a temporary Development Leader with us, you will be a key player in our development team within Social Sustainability in the Väster district. Here we work systematically and collaboratively to create comfort, community, and safety for tenants in one of the company's development areas, Frölunda-Tynnered. An important aspect of the work is to offer participation for our residents while enhancing the area's attractiveness.

Your responsibility will be to strategically and operationally drive and develop work that makes a difference together with the Development Manager, management, and resident developers. You will do this alongside other colleagues within the company and the group, tenants, civil society, the city of Gothenburg, and external actors.

To succeed, you need to work thoughtfully, persistently, results-oriented, and innovatively with multiple contact points. You will be based at the district office at Frölunda Torg and work independently and broadly in a dedicated team. You will report to the Development Manager.

Proactive, Listening, and Innovative

We are looking for someone with a solid social commitment and experience in operational and strategic development in collaboration with others. You should have documented experience in leading development work within community building and social sustainability – preferably in developing areas. You have a relevant academic education or experience that the employer considers equivalent. Familiarity with the real estate industry is seen as a plus.

As a person, you should be communicative, proactive, and as innovative as you are clear. You also need to be strategic and structured and used to creating results in complex contexts. You are good at building relationships and enjoy representing the organization in various contexts.

Be part of the teamwork towards an equitable Gothenburg

With us, you have a unique opportunity to play an important role in a team that is determined to make a real difference. Together with colleagues at Poseidon and in the group, you will work from a perspective that contributes to both your own and the Gothenburg community's development. We at Poseidon see diversity as a strength and therefore welcome applicants with different backgrounds and experiences. We create space for you!

Other

The position is a fixed-term employment for one year with the possibility of extension, and the start date is May 4, 2026, or by agreement. Selection and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. Quality assurance of the recruitment process for the final candidate will be conducted through background checks.
